Hi Jeff
I skim through the dialy and the related OSM wiki entries, tagging of the
disputed area is still in debate, still no consensus
I doubt it is possible to observe any boundary other than Taiwan(ROC)
administrative boundary in the field survey
We mappers in Taiwan can not interfere with your business interest to
please certain countries, but we will edit and manage objects by their de
facto status, anything not true exists will be removed
So do not touch the OpenStreetMap boundary, just use your own third-party
databse to store such a "view of point" database.
We still welcome you to Taiwan after the pandemic to see if there are any
other countries administrative bonders can be observed
And of course, if you matter OpenStreetMap data quality, you can draw some
buildings or fix some maproulette challenges in Taiwan
