Hello everyone,
In response to a request by the Tanzania community, Crowd2Map and Tanzania Development Trust, we have identified potential issues by spatially comparing OSM maps with tomtom data and then internally validating them. These issues are available on the following platforms:
* MapRoulette in the form of an Isolated Highways challenge<https://maproulette.org/browse/challenges/29807>
* GeoJson format for Duplicate villages<https://shared-assets.adobe.com/link/bac4dac0-a317-4d65-47e4-6e934d89d85e> and Oversized Buildings<https://shared-assets.adobe.com/link/55bc8d39-1366-4bfb-52b6-e3c7c3e98b20>
Please feel free to go through the tasks in either MapRoulette or an OSM editor (by loading the GeoJson files), assess the data, and correct errors where needed. Our team will work on them upon community request.
You can find more details about all our data improvements activities in Tanzania GitHub<https://github.com/tomtom-international/open-data/issues/70> page.
I hope you enjoy the new tasks. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Regards,
Salim
