Hi all,

I'm Matthias, originally from Germany and in TZ for two years already.
I've wanted to get in touch with the Tanzanian OSM community for a
while; now is a good time as this is just in and I was wondering if
anyone is working with the authorities already making sure that we get
as much open data as possible from it?

On a different note, are there any mapper meetings, workshops etc. in
the DSM area? Lately I've been doing a bit of work on the rural areas
roughly south of the Usambara mountains but I'm not so sure especially
about my highways classifications; there seems to be a lot of overlap
with what Crowd2Map has been doing so I guess it would make sense to get
in touch so I can get to know your needs and some local conentions,
maybe get some mapathon or other going again?
