[Talk-ug] Next Open Data Day - time & location updated!

Hi everyone,

this Friday Data.ug organizes another Open Data Day! Each Open Data handles
another subject regarding open data, to make people more aware of the
existence and possibilities of open data in Uganda and beyond.

This time we focus on mapping!

Do you know what a choropleth map is? Do you know about map design? Do you
want to know?

We've scraped over 50 KCCA files and uploaded them to data.ug , our portal
for open data regarding Uganda. These files contain really useful
information about roadworks, budgets etc. and we're going to use them for
mapping this Friday, 25th of July!

Join us @ Outbox (Soliz House) from 2 - 5.30 pm (free admission as always,
some snacks/drinks included + give away prizes!)
