[Talk-ug] Uganda Bureau Of Statistics Education facilities import

I agree we should try to get more contributors involved, especially local
ones and it's true those instructions form a barrier. I'm trying to find
ways to make it all a bit easier.
At the moment I'm working out the follow up though. I'd like to see all
those schools show up in Wikidata as well and I'm drawing the buildings.
That process is a lot slower, but I'm also trying to find ways to automate
it as far as possible. This in turn might become interesting for those
schools in the UK and Belgium. Still there might be a problem with
copyrights. In the case of Uganda the data can be sourced to UBOS and I
move the nodes a bit, so at best one can claim that I geocoded them from
Bing. I do add the node's id as a reference though.
Anyway, that's part of the reason why I move them, it shouldn't be a
problem, as I'm adding tags as well.
If adding them to Wikidata becomes something initial importers also want to
take up (when I automated the whole process), it should probably become a
two step process. Adding the tags to Wikidata first and adding the
coordinates and the reference back to the node, after having uploaded them
in a second go.
I'm also going to look into a more convenient way to switch between
accounts, and to add those extra tags to the changeset automatically from a
Python script.
Not sure if I'll manage to do that this week though. FOSDEM is coming up
next weekend.
