The Groton trail map is more fully evolved than the Acton one:
https://www.grotontrails.org/Interactive_Maps.html
Groton also uses mapbox for some data storage, but it uses leaflet.js for
some nice easy controls (like switching the base layer) that are more work
to do in Acton's approach of pretty much just using the mapbox APIs. On
the other hand, Groton's code was written to an earlier version of the
mapbox APIs, which have continued to evolve. I look forward to reviewing
Groton's map & code in more detail to see what I can borrow for Acton.
