Do you mean that you added roads where there were none, or added road
names? Or also that you changed road names based on MAD? It seems like
it would take either local knowledge or a bit of work to be confident
that MAD was right and the other was wrong.
That said, I've been gardening road names to match signs in Stow for
years, and there were no conflicts (with fuzzy matching) between MAD and
OSM, just 4 road names in MAD that do not exist in OSM.
We are going to need an output which includes things that fail exact
matching, too, at some point, but I would tend to leave that to when
there is a postgis-based full import processing program.
