The conference this year is at the Cobo Center in Detroit  Friday 10/5 thru
Sunday 10/7

I've attended previous years at the UN in New York, Seattle and Boulder and
always had a great time.

The cheapest hotel I could find close to the Cobo Center (11 minutes
walk/bus) was the Riverside Inn for $67/night. Reviews say it's a little
run down, but so am I.

 Every year there's been a company sponsored social on the night before the
conference so it would be a good idea to arrive on Thursday 1/4.
