Here's the publicity for the October 2 maptime meeting at facebook.
Register at https://www.meetup.com/Maptime-Boston/
I saw this in Minneapolis at the State of the Map 2019 and will be
attending this event. If you use the id editor don't miss this. I didn't
know these guys were based in Boston.

Our October Maptime will be hosted by Facebook at their Boston office.

OpenStreetMap (OSM) powers maps on Facebook. To help improve the OSM
project around the world we've developed machine learning algorithms that
automatically detect roads from satellite and aerial images. Similarly
Microsoft released a dataset of AI-generated building footprints from
imagery data. To help OSM contributors bring these features safely into OSM
we built RapiD - a map editor (based on iD) that provides easy access to
AI-generated roads in 15 countries and AI-generated building polygons from
Microsoft in 4 countries. Using RapiD, the Facebook mapping team was able
to double the total length of OSM roads in Thailand in a short time. RapiD
is now available to the entire OSM community at https://mapwith.ai.

Facebook engineers will give an overview of RapiD, how it works, some
demos, and provide a hands-on tutorial for everybody to get up and running.
Don't forget to bring a laptop!

Hang out afterward and enjoy some pizza and drinks :)
Alan
