It's not clear if this is the whole state, or just "Central Eastern" --
which might be Worcester Country and east???

Using lidar to update structures mapping (#Article3)
We have begun to receive the lidar data that we told you about in recent
GISette editions, captured in the spring of 2021. We are currently
ingesting the final delivery area (northeast MA) provided by the USGS
and anticipate we’ll begin distributing the data before the next GISette
is published in November. Below are the results of some processes we
developed using data that was part of the first delivery, and we intend
to do the same for the remainder of the data. You may be interested in
how we will be using classified lidar to update MassGIS’s structures
database.
Most commonly, terrain lidar data is used to accurately measure
elevation.
In the new 2021 USGS 3DEP Central Eastern Massachusetts Lidar Project,
the point cloud is also classified according to the type of object that
has reflected the laser pulse. Five classes are shown here:
Ground
Low vegetation (0.5 - 2 meters tall)
Medium vegetation (2 - 5 meters tall)
High vegetation (more than 5 meters tall)
Buildings
