I would be for this setup.  I would mention a few things in passing.  And I'm sure these have been mentioned, but I would jus tlike to mention them.

First, I like the images on how much each highway it used.  Trunk highways is not a used term in the US, except for Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan, where all state highways are considered 'trunk highways'.  There might be some confusion unless the criteria are prominent and visible.  Has anyone thought of putting a key on the OSM map?

Second, the color of the trunk highway concerns me a bit.  Any other mapping company, online or not, uses the green line as a tollway.  When I initially started, I was makring highways as trunks, only to see most of the region covered with toll routes.  So I switched them back.  I personally think that toll routes should have special coloring or highlighting to set them apart from free routes, but that's just me.
