It would be helpful if you would coordinate funding drives with OSMF.

If not planned carefully your efforts might coincide with a centrally
planned funding activity.  This has potential to confuse and dilute
everyone's efforts.

Tell us what you want to achieve and we can help you.

OSMF is not incorporated in the US and so does not have 501(c)3 status.  If
there is interest then, please talk to us, we are currently planning to
establish a structure for local chapters and federated member
organisations.  This initiative is in the hands of Nick Black (
nickblack1 at gmail.com) if you want to get in touch with him.
