Sounds like a plan,

Also, has anyone had luck contacting local Geocaching associations?  I'm
going to cross-post to the main talk list, but they would be a wealth of GPX
files if nothing else.

If it's planned right, we could cross-link local mapping parties to
geocaching.com as events.  -- Any ideas on a date/time?
