	Nobody seems yet to have mentioned here that US National Forests 
are   not only run by the Department of Agriculture, but meant for *use* 
-- not protection, not recreation (though the latter is one use among 
several) but use. They are available, under varying conditions, for 
logging, hunting, mining, and several other uses. National Parks are not 
-- and any map can expect to have a variety of users ....
