it's just surprising that the old scanned maps seem to be more accurate than
any newer data available in electronic formats. have used them  in Pathaway
and always found these maps more accurate than Garmin maps. Garmin, TomTom
have the same errors as Tiger data and seems the same errors as this data.
Interesting question where all the precise data from the old paper maps got
lost.
