so is there anything i should do/try/whatever?

it is clear it knows about other secondary roads, it is telling me when 
i drive on NY 150 and
151, but it won't show them to me. it seems to have no knowledge of many 
roads, it doesn't
see primaries like US4 or motorways like I-787.

it looks like there are well defined tile boundaries when i switch to a 
flat map and pan over.
