[Talk-us] More Garmin Maps

I don't think the Cloudmade-created maps I posted last time are really
meant for daily use. I think they're intended to help people track down
and survey things like missing street names. They're still up, but I've
added another set which look nicer and I've checked that they're
routable. They're based off of Lambertus's work here:

But I just joined them myself so you don't have to go grab a bunch of
them from the server. I've cut them in large longitude swaths that
should fit conveniently on removable media.

There are some missing tiles from Lambertus's map (the red rectangles),
so this doesn't contain anything in those areas. The most notable
omission that I noticed is Las Vegas.

BTW, I just found out that a new firmware update lets my GPSMap 60csx
take SDHC cards, so I can put the whole USA map on a single card. A 4GB
card in <$10 shipped on Amazon if you don't have one. :)

Oh, and the card was FAT16 from the factory so I had to reformat it to
get a >2GB file.
