It wouldn't be local to _me_, it would be local to the end user. I'm
working on yet another food-based website, with one component being
recipes. Most ingredients are easy to come by at the grocery store,
but what if you're making lassi, for example? The database knows who
uses rose water, so it would check the cuisine tag and show you where
to find it.
Currently I'm trying to map all the ethnic grocery stores in my town
(Portland, OR) but I don't know. My ulterior motive is to find
tortillas like my grandma used to make, before she got tired of making
tortillas. =P
