I hope you don't mind me attaching to your thread, Richard.

I accept the nomination to run for the temporary board of the US chapter of
the OSM Foundation.

I believe I would be an excellent temporary board member. I have experience
working as a member of and leading organizations in college. In addition, I
worked to promote OSM in the US by acquiring donated servers and rack space
and have spoken at a local GIS users group.
