The route information would also be of interest to any parents considering moving into a neighborhood, and who were wanting to know where their children would wait for the bus, or approximately how long their kids would be riding on the bus, to and from school.

I agree - the fact that it goes out of date so quickly, and is of 
interest to only the school bus driver lessens its value here.
