Hi all (sorry for the double post)
MapQuest released our Android application today in the marketplace
http://blog.mapquest.com/2011/02/16/mapquest-unveils-free-android-app/
It is free, and has an OSM mode, which when switched to, uses:
- MQ OSM tiles
- MQ Open Aerial tiles for satellite view (yea, thats US only right now
when zoomed in below the landsat)
- Nominatim
- Open directions service (OSM)
- open guidance service (OSM)
- Skobbler MapDust for bug reporting
The blog post above has more details and a QR code on it you can scan for
download
Hope you all enjoy
feedback / questions etc about the app can be sent to
android-support at mapquest.com and I know they'd love to hear from you.
Cheers
Ant
