Other than the wiki you can have a try in taginfo to look for other tags
people have used, e.g. by looking at actual aeroway-values:
http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/aeroway#values
http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/navigationaid#values
etc.
I agree that this could be discussed in tagging so that we can find an
agreed tagging to document in the wiki.
