i don't clearly understand what restriction is troubling you, but be
aware that

1) there's no problem splitting ways if it facilitates adding
a turn restriction

2) you have some latitude as to how you place the restriction
as routers will have some look ahead. placing a left turn restriction
on the left side where Riva meets West may be sufficient guidance
for routers

3) you can use a way as a via, not just a node.
