I appreciate the clarification, and now better understand that there is an issue with a particular multipolygon not rendering in Carto. I also now understand that these are intended to render identically from two different sets of tags, one set that was previously applied to this multipolygon, one set that is presently applied to this multipolygon.
I also apologize for my misunderstanding.
As the issue seems to be "at the highest zoom levels" (where I assume it wasn't before), I defer to the authors of the renderer code to determine what the root cause may be.
