The OpenStreetMap US team has the following updates to share:

1) Help us find the next location for State of the Map US. Bids and
suggestions for SOTMUS 2023 are due on August 15th. Learn more:

2) OpenStreetMap is turning 18! To celebrate OSM's birthday, we want to
know: why do you map in OSM? You can send your responses to:

3) TeachOSM is awarding grants of up to $500 USD to support activities that
bring together students and educators across different classrooms, groups,
or geographies to learn through OpenStreetMap. The deadline is August 20th.

4)  Drop in for the monthly TeachOSM Working Group meeting to learn how you
