[Talk-us] Adding a new node by merging borders of two other existing nodes?

Although it could be technically easy to do in this case by creating a
relation referring to the 2 boundaries, there are many variations of
regional reference names in the US. Many of those do not match state
boundaries and would therefore result in a maze of intertwined and
overlapping regional polygons. It is not a good fit for OSM.
