[Talk-us] A USA-specific "subforum" is being created at our Discourse forum

As Martijn has mentioned here, I recap now that our community (Discourse) forum is in the process of establishing a USA-specific “subforum.”  Some have already been created for other countries (cultures / sub-communities) in OSM, but one thing yet to be done for the USA is to elect some moderators.  We have four long-time august OSM members from the USA who have stepped up as potential moderators.  And we still have a few days left to vote them up or down.

If you haven’t yet joined this still-rather-new, excellent, growing community [1] (becoming more vibrant every day!), please, consider doing so.  The same OSM credentials you use to map in OSM allow you to join or enter this forum and "mingle with our community.”  Speaking personally, I have high hopes at how I have seen this community blossom and grow over the last several months.  It’s a great place to find out what’s going on in OSM, both around the world, and soon, it seems, for topics which are more USA-centric.

And whether you say Yes or No to the slate of moderators, please consider voting [2], as well!
