Here are updates the OpenStreetMap US team is sharing this week:

 1) Submission of self-nominations for the OSMF 2022 board election is now
open on the AGM2022 Election to Board wiki page:

The deadline is October 22, 2022.

2) Mark your calendar for November 3rd: FedGeoDay is back and in person!
FedGeoDay is an annual conference devoted to "open geospatial ecosystems"
that are used to initiate and grow capabilities across the U.S. federal

3) The call for proposals for Mapping USA + WikiConference North America
has been extended to Saturday, October 22nd. There's still time to submit
your session ideas:

4) Register for the Local Chapters and Communities Congress 2022 (LCCC
2022) scheduled for November 12, 2022. The Local Chapters and Communities
Congress is a virtual event where leaders and members of various OSM
communities (whether officially recognized Local Chapters of the OSM
Foundation or just a user group of OSM mappers) come together to share
