The OpenStreetMap US has these updates to share:

1) Join us for our next Mappy Hour on Wednesday, May 21st, from 8 - 9 pm
ET. Hear from Bill Wetherholt, Professor at Frostburg State University,
about how OpenStreetMap can be used in the classroom to teach Geography's 5
themes. OSM US Software Engineer Jake Low will also demo OSMCha, a tool for
monitoring changes made to OpenStreetMap. Register here:

2) State of the Map US kicks off in one month, so there's still time to get
your tickets: https://bit.ly/sotmus2025tix. Be sure to check out our
logistics page too! We have special pricing on accommodations:
https://openstreetmap.us/events/state-of-the-map-us/2025/logistics/

3) Many government agencies have seen recent spending reductions, limiting
participation in conferences like SotM US. Events like ours are critical
for building relationships and sharing knowledge. Government partners are
valued stakeholders in collaborations for #opendata. OSM US wants to fill
that gap, and we need your help! This fund will support scholarships for
US-based current and recent government employees to attend the conference.
Please consider making a contribution: https://bit.ly/SOTMUS-gov-fund.
