[OSM-Talk-ZA] GPS advice/recommendations? what does other mappers use?

Hi fellow mappers,

I am planning a trip to namibia & Botswana ( lasting about 3 weeks) and
would like to contribute the tracks back to osm.

I need to buy myself a GPS but I am lost as to what to choose. From what I
read Garmin is the way to go.

My requirements.

I need to install tracks4africa. (to find all the interesting places)
Need recording functionality, enough to cover my 3 weeks. (is this
adjustable/possible ?)
My budget is about R4500 give or take
What shop sells them at a reasonable price (Pretoria/Johannesburg area)?
