[Openstreetmap] Status of openstreetmap.org logins?

All,

I have some data from North Birmingham and environs to upload.

I tried to create an account for this, but something appears to be wrong 
when I click Go! I'm sent to a blank page. If I try to login with my 
chosen username and password, the site reports 'login failed, sorry'.

Is account creation working? Or have I chosen an invalid login email 
(openstreetmap.org at moreati.org.uk)?
