[Openstreetmap] Use dynamic location on the OSM front page?

After being asked today about where to find mapping from IP address to
location, I rediscovered <URL:http://www.hostip.info/>, a web service
doing this mapping.

And later it occurred to me, that we could use tihs service to make
the OSM front page much more user friendly.  Instead of showing the
coordinates of London as the default location, we could fetch the
visitors current location using for example
<URL:http://www.hostip.info/api/get.html?ip=[address]&position=true>
and insert the coordinates as the proposed map center.

We could even show the map on the front page right away, to let the
visitor know that his location is known. :)

How hard would this be to make the front page dynamic?
