[Openstreetmap] New applet doesn't work for me...

Hi guys, I've had no luck with the new client.  The applet loads, the 
latitude and longitude update in my browser status bar, the map loads, 
but clicking on the "add point" button and trying to add a point doesn't
seem to do anything.

Using Firefox 1.0.3 in Debian unstable (the 32-bit version in a chrooted
gaol as it the way with running 32-bit apps on AMD64 Debian, with the 
Sun Java environment version 1.5.0_03.

Should I file a bug?
