[Openstreetmap] OSM applications?

  i am interested in converting the OSM API output
into GRASS
  ascii vector format (v.in.ascii is not exactly
buzzword-compliant :).
  Then we can use all network analysis
  and plotting/printing tools that
  GRASS provides (v.net.path, v.net.alloc, v.net.iso,
