[Openstreetmap] Alternative Landsat imagery

I was having a scoot at World Wind which gives you different satellite
imagery options, a nice touch for OSM would be to permit the selection of
alternate Landsat imagery background tiles to use in the map/editor.
Assuming of course that these alternate renderings are available to OSM in
the same way as the Community Landsat7 (pseudo colour) that is currently the
OSM backcloth.
