[Openstreetmap] map cache

How long are map image tiles cached?  I viewed an area the other 
day, but when I go back today the images are apparently generated 
again, which takes a lot of time.  For a demo, it would be 
convenient to "pre-surf" the area the day before and be able to 
rely on the images still being there.
