Mike,

You might try the two main newsgroups for the latest commercial products. A
few of the users here may suggest some other products too. For what its
worth I am using a Garmin Legend.

Subject: [Openstreetmap] GPS device

Guys

Be nice to do my bit for the project, but there seems to be a lot of
different
GPS devices out there. Anyone got any suggestions for a good, cheap,
portable
device that would allow me to contribute GPS points to the Openstreetmap
project? (Maybe ebay would be better than buying new?) I'm a newbie at this
whole thing, but my local area is crying out for mapping!

Cheers

Mike
