Except that to do it with GPS, you don't need a supply of hi-res
orthorectified photographs with a licenses to derive imagery.  If you
know anyone who has such a supply and is willing to donate it, then
please let us know :)

We certainly want to have imagery of a higher resolution than landsat
as an available base layer in OSM.

Also, available photographs tend to be older than "last night's
commute" so it's nice to have up to date info.
