I think canals could be quite fun.  I was talking to Andy and Steve
about this at the weekend - there is potential for walking, cycling
and boating.  I think Richard Fairhurst has been doing quite a bit of
canal mapping - he would be a good person to contact about setting up
a canal list - maybe start with a canal wiki page first though.
