I bought an OS map last year that doesn't include the A6 - does that count?  
(I think it must have been on WHSmith's shelves for several years, since their 
digital maps were more recent)

So the next thing to think about is a "validating existing data" programme?  
Would it be sufficient to print out a map, walk some streets, and write a 
wiki note on the accuracy of other peoples' data?
