You might of heard that Georgia's DoT removed towns <2500 people from their state maps.

People upset they don't have a voice in determining what's on the map.

This a big chance for OpenStreetMap to show what it's all about .. an open platform for
producing a map and tools to make maps meaningful for everyone.

If I weren't swamped with projects, I'd jump on fixing the Tiger import script, load in Georgia,
make sure all those small towns are there, and then producing some maps .. say a map
with only the <2500 towns on it.

Then I'd get in touch with BoingBoing and CNN and see where it goes.
