[Openstreetmap] Advice on purchasing a new GPS unit

one coworker uses a GPSMAP 60CSx as a navigation system on his
motorbike.
he's content with it, but the the directions descriptions are a bit poor
(something like "in 50m enter the autobahn 61" but without indication
