[Openstreetmap] Zooming in editor moves the focus

there had been strange problems between josm and the database yesterday.
when i was wondering if there is something happening
(after an hour of "uploading data, please wait"), i started
tcpdump and had seen just a few packages every 10 min.

between 23:00 and 24:00 CET the upload worked, but since then i also get
500 errors.
