It's great that you're doing all these presentations, but it 
brings two questions:

1. Do you ever show the live OSM website at the presentations?  
Because I would never dare to do this, as shaky as it is.  Of 
course, I have to fear that you can bring the main server down at 
any time unannounced to run some great tune-up, as if it were your 
personal desktop, something that you won't have to fear me doing.

2. If people in the audience actually decide to give OSM a try, 
how many of them find the shaky website is unavailable and then 
never give it another try?

Perhaps you're just showing some powerpoint diagrams to show off 
and gain academic interest, rather than attracting actual 
contributors?  Or how do you convince anybody to become an OSM 
contributor?

I'm really glad that I have a new planet.osm dump, because now I 
can do a lot offline, that makes me less dependent of your server.
