I was quite surprised to find myself on that list - I've not really had
chance to do much with all the converted tracks I uploaded the other day.
I'll add that I had no expectation of privacy - lots of the tracks start
and end at my front door, resulting in people being able to find where I
live - but they'd save themselves an awful lot of work if they just used
whois. Should anyone find themselves traversing the miniscule bits of
map I've managed to produce then I'd be only too happy for you to get in
touch so we can go for a beer (yes, there do seem to be rather a lot of
pub icons on my section ;-) - there appears to be someone else mapping
Leeds too - if you're reading this please drop me an email to say hello
- we can avoid duplicating too much effort then.
Steve, I understand your concerns, managing a project such as this was
never going to be easy, but I'd just like to thank you for doing such a
great job so far - long may it continue.
