That would be incredibly handy - I always worry that nodes may end up 
duplicated if I download an area, scroll until just the edge is in view 
(after doing some editing and discovering the area I grabbed was just 
too small) and download more data. Having everything tiled would be much 
more useful - although I suspect you'd need to automatically toggle that 
off at some zoom levels.
