The author of GETrack is quite responsive to suggestions, I've always 
found. Might be worth prodding him if there's something you don't like.

1.3.8 claims to support the 3rd edition:

Since 3rd edition introduces all sorts of new fun with .sis files 
(relating to signing, some handsets being locked to only allow signed code 
etc), the .sis files I produce (and most others too) won't work. You'll 
have to just upload the .py files over bluetooth/wifi, and install them 
with the python installer.
