Perhaps they were done from very earlier courier data, where the track points
were much less dense, and their error margins weren't so apparent? (Are
their GPS units set to some 300-foot or 10-second tracklog interval?)
Look at anywhere in central london, the spread of trackpoints from a road is
significantly larger than the distance between roads, so the trackpoint data
just merges into a "mist" with slightly denser areas marking roads. (I think
I said as much on [[Talk:Central_London]])
If people bring GPS's to the Covent Garden meeting, we should be able to sort
out a lot of problems in the central area. There are already some
high-detail tracks visible, meaning that people are starting to visit with
better equipment.
