If I were Steve, then my number one priority would be giving myself a break,
by way of taking all the things that only I can do, and making a way for
somebody else to do them.

In purticular, instead of the GPX importer locking hard and attempting to
send a failure email, it should go on to the next file, and attempt to send
the failure email. That way, it will only be stuck for files that it can't
handle. (Possibly it should fail not only by attempting to send email,
which may well fail, but noting the error in a OSM logfile.)

I realize that there may be some sensitive-data issues, where only Steve can
presently do that. That's OK, make a group for it, with one member. When
the Foundation is all set up, we can start adding more members to the group.

(And yes, I'm going to go read the Foundation stuff on the wiki, since I'd
be rather suprised if there's something I can do to help, other then sending
money for a lawyer, and I'm one of the few hangers-on to this project with
time but not money.)
