Different. The BlueGPS logs 30,000 points:

And is awesome, for the record. I used it to record my recent 20 mile
San Francisco hike:

And got signal in some places I wouldn't have believed... like 4M
accuracy inside a building.

It also kept on ticking despite it getting dropped twice late in the
day, when I was starting to get tired ;)
